Hello, thank you for visiting our Website. I am Eiji Matsumoto, President of APSDA and I am Deaf.
The name of our association is APSDA, which stands for Asia Pacific Sign Language Development Association. ...
This is our Logo.
Let me tell you a brief history of APSDA
Several Deaf groups have started to translate bible into sign languages in Asia Pacific and decided to establish a regional association to promote their work and to cooperate each other. The representatives of these groups gathered in Korea in November 2011 and established APSDA, which was incorporated as General Incorporated Association in September 2012 in Japan.
APSDA is a Deaf-led Christian organization which provides service based on Christian values. All board members, including President, are Deaf.
We will continue to promote sign language bible translation and expand our activity in development of sign language as well as education, and serve as a liaison bridge between outside sign language experts and member associations.
Please visit our facebook and website for the latest information on APSDA.
We appreciate your continuous support and prayer. Thank you.
